Summer Awar brings more than 14 years of experience to the Law Offices of David C. Beavans. Summer has exclusively practiced family law in San Diego, California for the past two years. Summer strives to help her clients understand every aspect of their case and have realistic expectations. She has successfully aided her clients in navigating through their family matters. Summer is ethical, dedicated, and passionate. Her goal is to ensure her client’s emotional and legal well-being.

Summer is a dual attorney in California and Brazil. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic. Her diverse background allows her to work effectively with clients. She is a resourceful attorney and an expert in finding creative solutions to complex issues. Summer fights fiercely for her client’s rights.

Summer took a special interest in child custody cases as well as all other facets of family law. She handles national and international divorces, high-conflict child custody cases, child and spousal support issues, paternity cases, post-judgment modification matters, and Hague Convention cases.

On her off time, Summer enjoys traveling the world, reading books, hiking, and going to the beach with her husband and children.
